There may be slight discomfort during the injection, however, a numbing cream will be applied before the treatment to minimise pain.
You can expect some swelling and bruising at the injection site. Other common side effects include redness, pain, itching or bumps. These symptoms will fade away after a few days. You may also apply a cold pack within 24 hrs after the treatment to reduce swelling.
Usually, you would need 2 sessions to achieve optimal results, however, this varies across different people. Our doctors will work with you to determine the number of treatment sessions you need to achieve the best results.
You may notice immediate results, but it can take a few months to see the full results of your treatment.
Most people can return to their normal activities immediately after the treatment. Swelling, bruising, and other side effects are usually mild and subside within a few days.
